One-to-One Lessons

  • During term time, if a student cannot attend the lesson for any reason including illness, the lesson will be charged in full unless a mutually convenient alternative can be agreed upon at least 48 hours in advance. For example, another time/date that week, or the lesson can be done during a school holiday, subject to Sam’s availability.

  • Sets of lessons are booked on a rolling basis. Therefore, any unused lessons will roll over into the following term, including into the next academic year.

  • A minimum of 4 weeks notice should be given in writing to terminate lessons.

  • Payment made by bank transfer must be complete in advance of the lesson.

  • Students must arrive on time and be picked up on time. Other students’ lesson times will not be adjusted to meet another’s lateness.

  • Additional lessons can be purchased during school holidays, out of term time. But this is subject to my discretion, and availability.

  • While every care is taken to ensure a safe environment, Hampton Guitar School cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to personal property brought onto the premises.

Group Lessons (2 or more students)

  • During term time, lesson fees are non-refundable unless there are no other students available to form a group of two or more students. In such instances, the student is entitled to a full refund of the lesson fee. If one student is away, the other students must still attend.

  • Sets of lessons are booked on a rolling basis. Therefore, any lessons remaining in the set will roll over into the following term, including into the next academic year.

  • Payment made by bank transfer must be complete in advance of the lesson.

  • If a student is unable to attend a lesson, neither a replacement lesson nor a refund will be offered.

  • Repeated disruptive behaviour or a consistent lack of preparation that hinders the group's progress may result in a student being moved to 1-to-1 lessons or excluded from the group.
